Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit ToolsNest, use its tools, or contact us. ToolsNest is operated by Kermouni Badr. For privacy questions, email contact@toolsnest.net.

1. Images you edit

Our image-editing tools process the files you select in your browser, on your device. Input images selected for these local tools are not uploaded to ToolsNest’s servers. The local tools do not create an online image gallery or an account-based file history.

AI upscaling, background removal and face detection work by downloading software and model assets and then running the processing locally. Loading an AI model is a network request; processing your selected image is a separate, local operation.

Keep control of your original and downloaded files. Copies saved through your browser remain subject to your own device, browser and backup settings.

2. Website screenshots and pasted HTML

The public-URL capture feature works differently from local image editing. When you choose to capture a website, your browser sends the URL to Microlink. Microlink visits the page, generates a screenshot and returns a hosted image address. The submitted URL, network metadata and resulting screenshot are therefore handled by that external service.

Do not submit URLs containing passwords, access tokens, private query parameters or other confidential information. A hosted screenshot address can be accessible to anyone who obtains it. Microlink’s handling, caching and retention of its data are governed by its Privacy Policy; ToolsNest does not set a guaranteed deletion period for those copies.

When you render a pasted HTML snippet using the local HTML option, the tool removes scripts and external resources and creates the image in your browser instead of sending the snippet to the screenshot provider.

3. Technical information from website visits

When you visit the website, our hosting, delivery and security infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of a request, the requested page, response status, browser information and referring page. This information supports delivery, troubleshooting, security and the prevention of abuse.

ToolsNest uses WordPress and hosting and delivery resources from Hostinger. Providers may maintain operational logs under their own service and privacy arrangements. Technical logs are separate from the local processing of your image files.

4. Google measurement tools

The website loads a Google tag through its Site Kit integration. Google measurement services can receive information about page visits, interactions, browser and device characteristics, identifiers and network information. Cookies or similar technologies may be used according to the connected service, its settings and applicable consent requirements.

We use website measurement to understand how the site is used and identify areas to improve. For information about Google’s practices, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

5. Cookies, browser storage and downloaded assets

Cookies and other browser storage can support website functions, preferences, measurement and, when enabled, advertising. WordPress can use cookies for administrative sign-in. Browsers may also cache downloaded runtime or model files so that a later tool session does not need to download everything again.

Model caching is not an upload of your selected image. You can manage cookies, website storage and cached files through your browser’s settings. Removing stored data may reset preferences or require another model download. Blocking storage or scripts can affect some features.

If a consent-management panel is shown for your location, use its controls to make or change your choices. Where consent is required, optional tracking and advertising must be operated in accordance with the choices collected through the applicable consent mechanism.

6. Advertising and Google AdSense

ToolsNest may display advertising through Google AdSense. When Google advertising is enabled, Google and other participating advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers to deliver ads and measure their performance.

Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, can use information from previous visits to ToolsNest or other websites to select ads. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising using browsing activity across participating sites.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also learn about participating companies’ advertising choices at YourAdChoices. These controls do not necessarily stop all advertising or all uses of cookies. Additional provider information and available consent choices may be presented in the advertising consent message.

7. Fonts, AI assets and other external resources

Some features need resources delivered by external providers. A resource request can disclose your IP address, browser information and related connection metadata to that provider. Relevant providers include:

  • Google Fonts: font files used to display the website.
  • jsDelivr and, where used as a model-loading fallback, unpkg: JavaScript libraries, runtime files and model assets.
  • Hugging Face: downloadable background-removal models and associated configuration files.
  • Google-hosted model storage: assets used by the face-detection feature.
  • Hostinger: hosting, delivery and integration resources used by the website.

These requests do not require uploading the image selected for a local tool. Provider information is available in the privacy notices of Google, jsDelivr, Hugging Face and Hostinger.

8. Information you send by email

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if included, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate a reported issue, handle a request or maintain necessary correspondence.

Our business email is hosted through Northwest’s business email service. Mail providers involved in sending or receiving a message process it as needed to provide email delivery and storage. Do not include passwords, private login links or sensitive images in a support message.

9. Sharing and retention

Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, email, measurement, delivery, security and the optional external features described above. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with a valid legal requirement, protect the service or address fraud or misuse.

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and meet relevant operational or legal obligations. Retention of provider-controlled logs, measurement data and hosted screenshots depends on the provider and the applicable configuration. Local image tools do not give us a server-side copy of your selected image to retain or delete.

10. Your requests and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict particular processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may be able to withdraw that consent for future processing.

Contact contact@toolsnest.net to make a request. Include enough information to identify the matter, but do not send identity documents unless a justified verification step is separately explained. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. You may also have the right to contact the relevant data-protection authority.

11. International processing, security and children

Third-party providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Their privacy notices describe their applicable arrangements and safeguards. No internet service can promise absolute security; use care when submitting information or following external links.

ToolsNest is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

12. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the website, its integrations or its information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
