These Terms of Use apply to ToolsNest, operated by Kermouni Badr. By using this website and its tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. What ToolsNest provides
ToolsNest provides browser-based image tools, related features and informational articles. The tools are currently available without a ToolsNest account or a usage fee charged by us. Some features depend on external libraries, model downloads or third-party services, which may have separate limits.
Supported formats, dimensions and processing limits are described within each tool. We may change or withdraw a feature as its requirements, reliability or third-party dependencies change.
2. Your files and permissions
You keep the rights you hold in the images, text and other material you use with ToolsNest. Selecting a file for local processing does not transfer ownership of it to us.
You are responsible for having the rights, permissions or other lawful basis needed to edit, use or publish your material. Editing an image does not remove another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights. A captured webpage may also contain material owned by others.
3. Acceptable use
Use ToolsNest lawfully and without interfering with other users or the website. In particular, do not:
- Use the tools to create, distribute or facilitate unlawful material.
- Infringe intellectual-property rights or unlawfully expose someone’s personal information.
- Use edits to support fraud, impersonation or other deceptive conduct.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, exploit the website, introduce malicious code or disrupt its operation.
- Abuse the website or connected services through automated traffic, quota circumvention or excessive requests.
4. Local processing and external services
Our image-editing tools process selected images in your browser. AI features load third-party runtime and model files, then perform inference on your device. Processing requires a compatible browser and sufficient device resources.
Public-URL capture uses an external screenshot provider. Submitting a URL sends it to that provider, which visits the page and hosts a generated screenshot. Do not submit private URLs, access tokens, password-protected pages or links that reveal confidential information.
Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, quotas and availability. Their inclusion does not mean that we control their services or guarantee their results. Our Privacy Policy describes these connections.
5. Checking your results
Keep your original files and review every result before using or publishing it. Compression, conversion and editing can affect quality, transparency, dimensions or other image information.
AI enhancement and background removal can create artifacts or remove wanted details. Automatic detection can miss faces or other sensitive areas. You are responsible for checking that all information you intend to conceal is adequately hidden; a successful download is not a guarantee of anonymization.
6. Website content and third-party rights
ToolsNest’s branding, original website content and original design elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party software, models, fonts and other components remain subject to their respective licenses. These terms do not limit rights granted under an applicable open-source license.
Links to other websites are provided for information or functionality. Review the destination’s own terms and privacy policy before using it.
7. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website, articles and tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, error-free output or suitability for a particular purpose.
We may investigate reports and make improvements, but we do not promise a particular correction or response time. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Responsibility and liability
You are responsible for decisions you make using the website and for the material you publish. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ToolsNest and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the services, including losses resulting from reliance on an unchecked output or an interruption of a third-party service.
This section does not limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, or remove mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the website changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Review the current terms when using the services. Where a change requires separate notice or agreement under applicable law, that requirement continues to apply.
